Lake Sawyer boasts the only year round resort in the greater Seattle area. The Resort's spacious ten acre grounds with tall firs and park-like lawns make it a popular spot for picnics. The Resort, situated near the western slope of Washington's Cascade Mountains, has plenty of waterfront on Lake Sawyer, one of the area's largest natural lakes. Elevation: 1,000 ft.

Two activity centers, docks, beach area, picnic area, playground, laundry facilities, propane, 24-hour security.

RECREATION

On-Site:  Swimming, canoeing, boating, fishing, basketball, water-skiing, and playground.

Off-Site:  Seattle (45 min), Auburn (20 min), Northwest Trek Animal Park, several golf courses. Nearby shopping.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS

Green River Gorge, Flaming Geyser Park, Mount Rainier, shopping.

RESORT GUIDELINES

Existing resort rules apply. Pets allowed at RV sites - must obey pet rules. No pets and no smoking in rental units. Peak season is May 15 - September 15. Check in/out times strictly enforced. For early check in/out time requests there will be an additional $5 fee plus tax. RPI rate is for 1 RV and 1 tow. Up to 4 people. $5 per person per day over 4. $3 resort fee per day. Additional charges for 50 amp, cable, tents, cars, and trailers will apply.

RESERVATION PROCEDURES

Reservations required for RV sites and rental units and may be made up to 60 days in advance through RPI's Central Reservations Office.

DIRECTIONS

From I-5 south of Seattle, travel east on Hwy 18 to Hwy 516. Drive east on Hwy 516 to 216th Ave. Turn right and proceed 3 miles to the Resort.
