The beautiful Grand Lake of the Cherokees is the location of Pelican Landing.
The 60,000 acre Grand Lake offers a wide variety of water activities. These
activities include sailing, cruising, and water-skiing or fishing for bass,
crappie, and catfish. Pelican Landing has a southwestern terrain that is
inhabited by deer and other wildlife. Elevation: 740 ft.
Administration building, bathhouse, picnic area and shelter, 24-hour security,
swimming pool, lake fishing, volleyball and basketball courts, boat dock and
ramp, horseshoes, miniature golf, playground.
Har-Ber Village with displays of many types of antiques, Shangri-La, a social
center providing fine dining and other amenities, Pensacola Dam and Cherokee
Queen Riverboat ride.
Existing resort rules apply. Pets must be on a leash. Peak seasons are May -
July and September.
Reservations required for RV sites and rental units and may be made up to 60
days in advance through RPI's Central Reservations Office. 1 night security
deposit required for rentals. No reservations accepted during major holidays.
From I-44, take the Vinita Exit and travel east on US 66 for 5 miles to Hwy
82. Head south on Hwy 82 and drive 6 miles to Hwy 85. Travel east on Hwy 85
through Ketchum. The resort is 4 miles northeast of Ketchum.
